How You Can Help
- Encourage others to submit poems by advertising this website on pages such as myspace, facebook, and twitter. Let your friends know you care.. and get them involved too.
- Donate to Africa Aid by directly by going to their website or joining their Facebook page.
- Join our BRAND NEW facebook page for latest updates and chance to interact with the project managers personally.
- Start your own project. Anyone can make a difference. It just takes a vision and a little bit of hard work!
Examples of projects you may consider:
- Have a garage sale with a lemonade stand and donate all your sales to make a difference.
- Have a Bake Sale, car wash, or other type of fundraiser to raise money for the cause.
- Host a event night to educate members of your community about the international problems of poverty, starvation, and lack of healthcare and education
- Set up a information table at a local event. Educate your town with fliers and facts about the problem.
- Start a club at school devoted to a cause that you care about
- Start a website about what you want to change.
- Petition the local or national government to help you take action. Don't be afraid to start small, say with your community townsperson.
- Make videos and post them on YouTube to educate viewers about a cause that's important to you. (Note: If you submit us your video, we may even embed it on this website)
- Start a unique school fundraiser- For example a penny, canned food, or clothing drive.
- Tell people about how they can help. Word of mouth is truly the best way to spread information and establish awareness.
